FUMC Gulfport COVID-19 Update

News about the coronavirus pandemic is changing quickly. We continue to monitor what it means for our community and the ministry of FUMC Gulfport. Our goal is to ensure the safety and health of all in our community who worship, serve, and grow together.

  • We will worship Livestream only on our Facebook page at 10 am every Sunday until our conditions improve.
  •  Click here for our Facebook page. There will be no Sunday School classes, nursery services, or early or late worship services. For those of you who do not have Facebook, this service will be recorded, and a link will be sent to you via email as soon as possible.
  • Our worship broadcast is still airing each Sunday at 10 am on WXXV/NBC on the following local channels:
  • Biloxi, MS: Channel 8
  • Ocean Springs, MS: Channel 8
  • Gulfport/Long Beach: Channel 18
  • Bay St. Louis: Channel 25
  • Please Give! It is vitally important to the mission and ministries of our church that you continue to give to our church. You can give online or mail your gifts (2301 15th Street, Gulfport, MS 39501).
  • If you participate in one of our Home Groups, we are encouraging you to make use of your Facebook groups. Call one another. Be there for one another in this time of social distancing.

Volunteer Help and Community/Individual Needs

We are identifying healthy young adults who are willing to help out in various ways. If you would like to participate in this effort to make things a little easier during these uncertain times, fill out the form at the bottom of this page (scroll down).

If you or someone you know has COVID-19, is self-quarantined, or just needs some help, fill this form out.

Remember, you don’t have to be a member of FUMC Gulfport to volunteer or to ask for help.

Donations Needed!

Memorial Hospital of Gulfport is seeking donations of PPE for healthcare workers. Specifically, N-95 & surgical masks (medical grade only), disposable latex gloves, hand sanitizer, safety goggles or glasses, full face shields and gowns. If you are able to help or know someone that can help, email foundation@mhg.com, call (228) 223-0922, or email Leslie Vaughn to arrange a pickup of supplies.

Thank you to those in our community who have already donated!
