FUMC offers a dynamic lineup of small groups for every age and interest. While most groups meet on Wednesday evening, there are several that meet throughout the week and month that may better fit your schedule.  


See below for our full lineup. We hope you'll dive in as we draw near to each other and Jesus Christ each week!

  • Sunday Small Groups for all ages

    Join us each Sunday morning for Sunday Small Groups!

    • The Middle The Middle is a group of parents and professionals who value fellowship centered around parenting, careers and family. This group meets in room 201 A of the Education Building at 9 am.
    • Men's and Women's Bible Study This is an established Sunday morning group who follows the Cokesbury Adult Sunday School Curriculum. The group meets in the Education Building Library at 9 am.
    • Peacemakers This is a multi-generational, "no homework" group that reads and discusses a book together.  They meet in Room 204A of the Education Building at 9 am .
    • Seekers  This is a "no homework" group of empty nesters that enjoys bible and book studies, fellowship and service. This group meets in the Gathering Room on the first floor of the Sanctuary Building at 9 am.
    • Nursery (6 weeks - 3) 9-9:45 am in room 104 of the Education Building
    • Pre-school (ages 3 - 5) 9-9:45 am in room 105 of the Education Building
    • Elementary (K - 5th) 9-9:45 am in room 202 B of the Education Building
    • Childcare available for children 6 weeks - 3 years during the worship service in the nursery.

  • Mosaic Women's Study

    Join the ladies of Mosaic as they engage in multi-week studies, typically including book and DVD group sessions. This group meets on Wednesday's at 12:30 PM in the Library of the Education Building.  For more information, contact our church office: 228.863.0047

  • FRIENDS OF MARY

    SECOND TUESDAY OF EACH MONTH AT 9:30 AM

    Friends of Mary is a women's fellowship group that meets each month for fellowship, encourage and to support one another through Bible study.  Each month, a different lesson is presented by one of the group members. Meetings are held in the 3rd Floor choir room. There is no cost to participate.  Contact our church office to learn more: 228.863.0047.

  • Chancel Choir

    Our Chancel Choir includes vocalists and instrumentalist that age from high schoolers to senior citizens. Age is no limit for praising God! Each member volunteers to participate in Wednesday evening choir practice, Sunday morning Sanctuary worship and on occasion, additional service opportunities.

  • United Methodist Men

    Second Saturday of the month

    The Methodist Men are a group of fellows that feel called to be a part of the life of the church behind the scenes. The men work with church members in need of handy-man-type assistance as well as working on projects in the community.  They also have "work" projects from the church Trustees.  UMM meet the 2nd Saturday of each month at 7:30 am for breakfast, then conduct business and have a monthly speaker.  They extend a personal invitation to all Methodist Men to come and enjoy breakfast and find ways that they might use their God-given talents to serve others.  Contact our church office to learn more: 228.863.0047.
