December 1— The First Sunday of Advent

Worship — 10:00 AM

Potluck Lunch & Advent Wreath Making Workshop —

11:00 AM (Fellowship Hall). Bring your favorite dish! This is a family-friendly event; however, childcare will be provided upon request.

December 3

Christmas Tour of Historic Churches — Starts at 5:30 PM 

Sponsored by the Gulfport Museum of History, this free tour of historic Downtown Gulfport churches followed by a reception at the Gulfport Museum of History. The tour begins at Morning Star Baptist Church at 5:30 PM, and is scheduled to reach First United Methodist Church of Gulfport by approximately 7:00 PM. A reception will follow at the Gulfport Museum of History. 

December 4

Kiwanis Pancake Day — 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (Fellowship Hall).

A portion of this year’s Christmas Eve offering will support our

FUMC - West Elementary Partnership.

For those who choose to celebrate Advent and Christmas with us virtually, you can view our worship via webcast on our livestreamr10 am each Sunday or on our WXXV Channel 25 TV 10 am broadcast.   On Christmas Eve we will have one service at 5 pm. 

Children are always welcome in worship. Nursery services provided for ages 6 weeks to 3 years old for all worship services.  The nursery is located in the Education Building.  Kids Korner is available during worship for ages 4 through 7 years old and is held in the Sanctuary Building.

We are collecting Walmart gift cards in increments of $25 for families in need in our community. Please leave in the offering plate on Sunday or drop-off in the church office by December 10.

The church office will be closed December 24, 2024 through January 3, 2025.
